1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Genview AI LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (“Genview AI”, “we”, or “us”), covering your use of mycareerlevel.com and the MyCareerLevel service (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use MyCareerLevel. The Service is operated from and hosted in the United States and is intended for users in the United States.

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the foot of this page. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the revised Terms.

2. The Service

MyCareerLevel matches job listings to your resume by career level. You upload a resume, set your preferences, and run a scan. The Service scores listings against your resume and can generate job-specific material for you: a cover letter, interview preparation, and resume recommendations.

MyCareerLevel is offered on a Free tier and on paid Pro and Power plans. What each tier includes is shown on the Subscription page and may change over time.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time. We may also apply limits on scans, generated documents, and other usage, and adjust those limits to manage cost, capacity, or abuse.

3. Accounts and Registration

You register with your name, email address, and a password, and you verify your email before the account becomes active. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account.

The information you give us must be accurate and kept current. We may suspend or close an account that contains false information, or that is used in breach of these Terms.

Tell us at info@mycareerlevel.com as soon as you notice that your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract job listings or any other content from the Service.
• Access the Service through bots, scripts, or any other automated means.
• Work around quotas, usage limits, paywalls, or access controls, including by creating multiple accounts.
• Copy, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or anything it generates for you.
• Upload malware, or interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service.
• Upload a resume or other content that is not yours to submit, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access for any of the above, and may take further action where conduct is unlawful.

5. Your Content

You keep ownership of your resume and everything else you upload. We do not claim any ownership of it.

You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit your content strictly to operate the Service for you: parsing your resume, scoring listings against it, and generating the documents you ask for. That licence exists only to deliver the Service and ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not sell your resume, and we do not share it with employers, recruiters, or advertisers.

6. AI-Generated Content

Match scores, cover letters, interview preparation, and resume recommendations are produced by an automated system. To generate them, the text of your resume and the relevant job description are processed using a third-party AI provider in the United States. Our Privacy Policy explains how that data is handled.

Automated output can be wrong. It can misread your experience, state something inaccurate about you, or produce text that does not fit the role. You are responsible for reading and correcting anything the Service generates before you rely on it or send it to an employer.

Some resume recommendations ask you to add information the Service does not have, such as a team size, a budget, or a percentage. Where that happens the Service shows a bracketed placeholder like “[add scale]” rather than a figure, because it has no way to know or check the real number. Only you do. Replace those placeholders with accurate information, and do not accept a suggestion that would make your resume misleading.

You are responsible for the truthfulness of your resume and of anything you send to an employer, including text the Service helped you write.

7. Fees and Payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Genview AI does not receive or store your card details.

Each payment is a single charge for one month. There is no automatic renewal and no recurring charge. Your card is not billed again unless you choose to pay for another month.

Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and then your account returns to Free, with your history and saved jobs kept. No action needed, nothing to cancel.

Prices may change, and any change applies to payments made after the change. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or as set out in Limitation of Liability.

8. Job Listings

Job listings shown on MyCareerLevel are collected from public job boards and company career pages. We do not write them and we do not control them.

A listing may be out of date, already filled, inaccurate, or removed by the employer after we collect it. We do not warrant that any listing is current, accurate, or open.

Genview AI is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or employment agency, and is not a party to any application, interview, or hiring decision between you and an employer.

9. Termination

You can delete your account yourself at any time from Account Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your resume, scan history, saved jobs, generated documents, and account details are removed and cannot be recovered.

Deleting an account does not refund a period already paid for.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Service or other users.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

MyCareerLevel is not a career counsellor, recruiter, employer, or law firm, and does not provide career, legal, or employment advice. Match scores, career level assessments, cover letters, interview preparation, and resume recommendations are informational tools. They are not professional advice and are not a promise of an interview, an offer, or employment.

Decisions about your career are yours. Consider getting advice from a qualified professional before acting on anything the Service produces.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Genview AI LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost employment, or loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of one month of your paid plan subscription or one hundred US dollars (US$100). That is your sole and exclusive remedy. This limit applies to all of your claims added together, not to each claim separately, and it applies whatever the claim is based on.

Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Genview AI LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

You and Genview AI LLC agree that any such dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and both of us consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the foot of this page shows when they last changed. If we change your rights or obligations under these Terms, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you by email before the change takes effect. Using the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
